Service Terms
Last updated August 28, 2026
These are the working terms for every detail performed by Xcalibur Mobile Detailing, a DBA of Slicked Mobile Detailing LLC, a registered Oregon LLC based in Eugene. Booking an appointment means you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to hide anything. If a signed service agreement exists for your appointment, that agreement controls where the two differ.
Your price and what can change it
Your price is set by what you select when you book: the package, the vehicle size, and the condition you describe. If the vehicle and its condition match the booking, that price stands.
What changes it is a mismatch between the booking and what is actually there, for example a vehicle a size larger than the one selected, heavy pet hair, sand, deep staining, surface mildew, surface odor, or heavy neglect. In that case the price is adjusted to match the work using our standard add-on rates. Every adjustment is photographed and documented before the extra work begins, and we make every reasonable effort to reach you first. By booking, you authorize documented adjustments up to $100 above your booking total if we cannot reach you; anything beyond that waits for your approval. This process exists to make the booking accurate, not to reopen it.
Photos and vehicle condition
We photograph your vehicle before work begins and again when it is done. Those photos are the record of its condition. Cleaning can reveal damage that dirt was hiding: scratches, swirl marks, chips, etched water spots, worn trim. Damage that becomes visible only after cleaning was already there, unless the photo record shows otherwise.
Access and driving your vehicle
You authorize us to operate and move your vehicle as reasonably necessary to do the work: repositioning for access, water, or power, or moving it a short distance around the service location. Your vehicle is never driven for anything unrelated to the service. No personal use, no errands, no joy rides. Access you grant, including gate codes and keys, is granted to Xcalibur as a business and covers anyone working under our direction; we remain responsible for anyone we bring. If you have privacy concerns, tell us and we will make arrangements.
Personal items
Please remove valuables, documents, and personal items before service. Compartments that contain personal items, like the glove box or center console, are left closed and are not cleaned. We are not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle. Loose items found while cleaning are gathered into one place and pointed out at the walk-around.
What we do and do not do
We are a detailing service, not a mechanic shop, and we perform no mechanical work. We do not remove seats, wheels, or panels, and we do not remove or reinstall child safety seats; please remove child seats before service if you want us to clean beneath them. The only removal work we do: license plates on applicable packages, windshield wiper blades, and cabin air filters when booked. Engine bay cleaning is exterior washing of the engine compartment. Anything beyond this list is declined, without exception.
Scope of Service
Xcalibur provides surface-level cleaning, detailing, and odor treatment. Contamination that has saturated carpet padding, seat foam, or the HVAC system, and any biohazard, including bodily fluids, sharps, and significant mold growth, is outside the scope of every package and add-on. If such a condition is found during the walk-around or during service, Xcalibur will stop the affected work, explain what was found, and refer the vehicle to a remediation specialist. Consistent with the payment policy, nothing is charged for work not performed.
Results
Detailing improves condition; it cannot always restore it. Some stains, etched damage, and absorbed odors like smoke and pet are permanent or need more than one treatment, and no honest detailer promises otherwise. We apply the full process you booked and show you the result at the walk-around.
Payment
A card on file holds your appointment and nothing is charged before service. Payment in full is due when the detail is complete and you have inspected the work. We accept card and tap-to-pay, ACH, Venmo, and cash. No checks. Work stopped partway at your request is billed for the portion completed.
Scheduling, cancellation, and weather
All appointments are scheduled through the online booking system. Appointments are not held by phone or text. Questions about scope or pricing are answered by text or email so the answer is in writing.
Reschedule or cancel with at least 24 hours notice at no charge. Later cancellations or no-shows may incur a $50 fee charged to the card on file. Heavy rain, freezing temperatures, or wind warnings are rescheduled by us at no charge to you.
Work site and wash water
Eugene, Springfield, and neighboring cities prohibit wash water from entering storm drains, and we work to comply, directing rinse water to vegetated or permeable ground. Please provide a work area that makes this possible; a driveway near lawn or landscaping is typical. If a site cannot support compliant rinsing, we may adjust methods, move the vehicle, or reschedule.
Safety
We may pause or stop work if conditions become unsafe: aggressive animals, hostile people, hazardous materials in the vehicle, or unsafe surroundings. Work stopped for safety is billed for the portion completed.
The walk-around
Every detail ends with a walk-around together. Anything raised during the walk-around that is not right gets corrected before we leave, at no additional charge. Any later claim must be raised within 24 hours of service.
Damage and liability
Xcalibur is a registered Oregon LLC, fully insured, and responsible for damage caused by its own work. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or wear, including what cleaning reveals, or for the failure of brittle, aged, or previously damaged components under normal detailing processes.
Photos and marketing
We photograph and film our work and use that media in our advertising: website, social media, portfolio. Marketing media shows the vehicle and the work, never your name, address, or personal information. Business and fleet clients also permit us to name them as a client and feature their vehicles and branding; any client can limit or withdraw marketing permission in writing at any time and we will honor it going forward.
We do not move your vehicle
Xcalibur does not transport, shuttle, or drive your vehicle off your property. All work happens where the vehicle is parked. We may reposition a vehicle a short distance on your own property when access requires it, with your permission.
Fleet accounts
Fleet and commercial accounts earn a 15% volume credit in any calendar month with five or more completed details. The credit equals 15% of the total paid for that month's completed details. The credit is earned, not advanced: vehicles bill at standard rate as they are completed, and the credit is issued within three business days after the month closes and applied automatically to the account's next booking.
One vehicle serviced counts as one detail. Add-on services alone do not count as a detail. Only completed and paid details count, so cancellations and no-shows do not. Multiple vehicles serviced on the same day each count individually. The count resets on the first of each month and does not carry over.
The credit applies to future services only. It is not redeemable for cash, is not transferable between accounts, expires 90 days from the date it is issued, and does not stack with promotional codes or other discounts. Fleet work is invoiced, net 15. Full fleet terms live in the signed service agreement.
Insurance and law
These terms are governed by Oregon law. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
